you are invited

to our wedding

WELCOME!

Welcome to our wedding website. We’re so excited to share this day with you. Thank you for planning, travelling and celebrating with us. You will find all the information you need for the celebration right here. First things first, if you haven’t already, please RSVP below by the 30th April to let us know if you can join us.

OUR WEDDING

Both, the wedding’s ceremony and the celebration will take place in one venue, Long Story Short, in Olomouc, Czech Republic. We are planning for it to be outdoors, in a historic courtyard, if the the weather permits.

PROGRAMME

Please check back later.

THE VENUE

We are celebrating our wedding at Long Story Short, a unique venue located in the historic center of Olomouc. Set within a restored 17th-century fortress building, the venue combines historic character with modern design.

The courtyard and terrace create a beautiful setting for gathering, enjoying a drink, and celebrating late into the evening. Everything is in one place, so guests can relax and fully enjoy the day without needing to move between locations.

Long Story Short is also known for its exceptional cuisine — the restaurant holds a Bib Gourmand in the 2025 Michelin Guide, recognized for its creative, seasonal bistro-style cooking that makes it one of the most exciting dining destinations in the region.

A limited number of accommodation rooms are available directly at the venue, and Olomouc's city center — just a few minutes' walk away — offers a wide range of hotels and guesthouses to suit every preference and budget.

WEDDING GIFTS

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you would like to still give something, we kindly ask for a financial contribution towards the celebration and our honeymoon.

ABOUT OLOMOUC

Olomouc is one of the Czech Republic's oldest and most beautiful cities, and it makes for a pretty wonderful backdrop for a wedding. Its roots stretch back to Roman times, and through the Middle Ages it grew into one of Moravia's great centers of culture and faith. That history is still very much alive today — most visibly in the Holy Trinity Column, a striking UNESCO World Heritage monument at the heart of the old town.

But Olomouc isn't just a city frozen in the past. Home to Palacký University, it has a lively, relaxed energy with nice cafés, parks and a warmth that makes it easy to settle into. It's the kind of place you can explore at your own pace and find things to enjoy, whether you’re history lovers or simply looking for a nice spot to sit with a coffee or a drink. We really hope you enjoy the city.
